When Laurel and Hardy spent Christmas at an English pub
In December 1953, Hollywood stars Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy spent a few weeks at the Bull Inn, Bottesford, Leicestershire. They were performing a show at the nearby Nottingham Empire, and Stan's sister was the landlady of the pub.
