Man Sentenced for Murdering Mother-in-Law in Front of Son

Stephen Rogers, a 30-year-old Wichita man, was sentenced to 49 years in prison for the murder of his mother-in-law, Sharmaine Burke. He was also charged with endangering his 8-year-old son during the incident.
