Know Who You are Now in Jesus

This powerful message from 2 Corinthians 5 invites us into a transformative understanding of our identity in Christ. We explore three revolutionary truths that reshape how we see ourselves: first, that we are completely new creations—not remodeled or refurbished, but built entirely new from the inside out. The old version of ourselves has passed away, buried in the grave with Christ, and something genuinely fresh has emerged. Second, we discover that we've been given the ministry of reconciliation, becoming ambassadors who carry the message that God is bringing humanity back to Himself. Like travelers returning from a mission field, we've experienced Christ and now represent Him wherever we go. Finally, we encounter the stunning reality that through Christ's sacrifice—where He who knew no sin became sin for us—we can actually become the righteousness of God. This isn't about earning our way or being good enough; it's about accepting what Christ has already accomplished. The message challenges us to stop defining ourselves by our past and instead embrace the capital-T Truth of what God says about us. When we reconcile our own version of reality with God's version, His perspective is the only one that matters. This Easter season reminds us that the resurrection didn't just split time—it made this life worth living by offering us eternity with our Creator..
