One Woman's Crusade To Bring Maternal Health Care To The South Side

The Chicago South Side Birth Center, a nonprofit maternal and reproductive health center, broke ground this week. It will renovate a former church into birthing suites and a clinic, offering midwifery care and aiming to open in early 2027.
