Studio Stories: Reminiscing on Twin Cities Dance with Susan Delattre - Season 16, Episode 171

Susan Delattre was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She graduated from Barnard College and earned an MFA in Dance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She continued in the academic world teaching in the University of Minnesota’s Dance Program. As a member of the Minnesota Independent Choreographer’s Alliance, she choreographed and produced dance pieces, including a solo evening and collaborations with other performers. Through the MN State Arts Board, Susan traveled throughout the state doing Artist in the Schools residencies. With Heck and Delattre: Story Dance Theater, she performed in school assemblies. She also performed with At the Foot of the Mountain women’s theater and the Women’s Performance Project. She co-authored two fables, The Woman Who Lost Her Heart and The Woman Who Found Her Voice. She has also self-published a collection of her poetry, Such Days as This. Susan currently lives in Minneapolis, working with hope for the healing of our planet from climate change.
