Man Convicted for Threatening Ottawa Councillor

Jason Claude Lamarche, a 49-year-old man, was convicted of making death threats and criminal harassment against Ottawa councillor Stéphanie Plante. The threats, sent via Gmail, were traced to Lamarche's phone, and he faces a potential two-year jail sentence.
