Belle chats with Naavikaran about MYSTIQ DISCOTHEQ, her latest EP made with Simo Soo. She’s currently on her first national tour, which is grassroots run, across 7 locations. We talked about the EP released on Transgender Day of Visibility; which traverses dance music, club, poetry, RnB & rap. Naavikaran highlights the expansive and transformational power of artistry by BIPOC, queer and disabled artists - for the community itself. We also explored some of the challenges of making events accessible, and poetry-night style local show: April 17th, Cave Inn Wooloongabba.
