Concern over proposed Waitaki rates rises
A community leader in the Waitaki District is becoming increasingly worried about what proposed rates rises of between 19% and 45% might mean for those struggling to get by. Ray Henderson, chair of Waitaki Ratepayers and Residents Association spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
