Judge Greg Mathis isn’t like any other judge on television. The Detroit native’s gang-to-gavel story, as well as the way he adds humor and sympathy to all of his cases, engages audiences from coast to coast and across demographics. Now, fans of “Judge Mathis” the TV show can experience Mathis’ decisions on the go with “The Judge Mathis Podcast.” From rent disputes to paternity tests, Judge Mathis hears the cases from both sides, analyzes the evidence, and renders his verdict with his trusty bailiff Doyle Devereux by his side. Once the verdict is reached, the plaintiffs and defendants share their reactions following the trial. Mathis’ trademark sense of humor, personal commitment to social and equal justice, and degree of humanity and forthrightness distinguish him from the rest of the genre.
