After years of sporadic single releases, Daniel reflected on why returning to a physical EP format felt essential, allowing the band to tell a complete story for the first time since 2016’s A Reintroduction: The Essence Of All That Surrounds Me . We discussed the creative and emotional weight behind tracks like “The Fracture” and the EP’s title song, the freedom that came with signing to Roux & Ruin Records, and recently working with producers Matt Good and Cody Stewart . Daniel also opened up about accountability, internal struggle, and maintaining full creative control—both sonically and visually—as Capsize step into a more intentional and fully realized new chapter.
