When it comes to advances in science and the medical world I believe we live in one of the best times. I am not about anti-vaccine conversations I’m about informed consent conversations. If my doctor tells me I have a debilitating disease and my chances are slim. But there is a new medication that may help. But he explains clearly and factually the possible side effects. Or the fact that the drug is quite new and there’s not enough data to confirm long term adverse effects. But with that knowledge I’m able to decide for myself the odds are worth the risk compared to doing nothing. Well I just explained what DO NOT happen during the COVID pandemic. COVID in all its iterations is only a danger for the elderly or truly sick. Those with existing comorbidities that a simple cold would push them over the edge.
