The Forgiven FORGIVE
“Forgiven People, Forgive People” Let’s start at the cross. Before we get deep, let’s get honest. Forgiveness sounds spiritual… until it gets personal. It’s easy to say, “I forgive you.” When nobody really hurt you. But when someone wounds you for real t alks about you, betrays you, mishandles you, overlooks you, lies on you suddenly forgiveness feels less like a command and more like a suggestion. But then… we look at the cross. While hanging on the cross, after being whipped all night long, bleeding, mocked, rejected— Jesus Christ said: “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34) Let that settle in.
