Crossfire (Episode 211)
The film Crossfire (1947), directed by Edward Dmytryk, adapted Richard Brooks' The Brick Foxhole. Due to the Hays Code, the film shifted focus from homosexuality to anti-Jewish sentiment as the motive for murder, which later led its creators to face HUAC hearings.
