Exploring Sausal Creek: Ancient Redwoods And Ohlone Roots
The Oakland City Council has approved funding to purchase 16 acres of land, including Sausal Creek. This land will be managed by the Indigenous women-led Sogorea Te’ Land Trust and the Confederated Villages of Lisjan Nation, who are its ancestral caretakers.
