Maskepetoon—Peacemaker
This episode of Council Fire tells the story of Maskepetoon, a Rocky Mountain Cree chief from the mid-1800s. He was a warrior who became a peacemaker after coming to faith, offering forgiveness to those who wronged him. His pursuit of peace ultimately cost him his life.
