UVA Drops Funding for Affinity Groups, Shifts Ceremonies

The University of Virginia has ceased funding and management for several affinity-based student groups and identity-focused graduation ceremonies as part of an agreement with the Justice Department. Students and alumni are now fundraising to support these communities.
