Charlottesville Fire Dept. Empowers Girls with Camp Inspire

Charlottesville Fire Department’s Camp Inspire is a three-day hands-on camp for girls. Started in 2022, the program aims to encourage more women to join firefighting and has shown success as a recruitment pipeline.
