Week of Prayer 2026 - Session IV: Melvin Cross - Persistent & United

The message teaches that prayer should be a daily lifestyle, not just a special event, and that it is a key way believers understand and participate in God’s will. While answers may sometimes seem delayed, God responds when people pray and remain persistent. Using the Gospel of Matthew 18:18–20, the speaker emphasizes the power of agreement in prayer. When believers pray together in unity, their spiritual authority increases and they gain clarity and strength. Community is essential because isolation can lead to discouragement and confusion. The central encouragement is to persevere in prayer and seek trustworthy prayer partners, since unity in prayer can bring breakthrough, strengthen faith, and help believers discern God’s direction for their lives.
