At the January 19, 2012 education event, Apple unveiled iBooks 2 for iPad, introducing interactive iBooks textbooks. The presentation also featured the launch of iBooks Author and the iTunes U app, presented by Phil Schiller, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing.
